SmartFrame Supervisor
This role is a key operations role with an objective of maintaining a standard of excellence in the picking of SmartFrame orders, maintenance of rack stock and operation of Hundegger saw. The scope of the position includes the planning and coordination of work flow for the day and afternoon shifts.
Reporting To: Operations Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities: All EWP Yard Staff
Key Stakeholders: Operations Manager, Sales Department, Dispatch & Stock Controller
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate work flow through plant, this includes;
- Prioritising orders generated by the sales department
- Ensuring orders are distributed to the picking staff in the correct priority
- Stock control and stock generation to ensure order can be met without down time
- Maintain working knowledge of stock supplies and requirements
- Timely delivery of orders
- Efficient loading times to minimise transport costs.

Oversee yard workforce performance; ensuring all staff adheres to workplace policies and procedures.
Daily workload planning for the afternoon shift.
Understand, implement and demonstrate company OH&S policies and procedures at all times, ensuring all yard staff adapt and implement OH&S practices.
Day to day planning of special projects.
When possible planning for upcoming orders.
Oversee training process for new staff..
Assist Operations Manager as required.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years experience in supervisory roles, responsible for at least 20 employees.
Proven history of achieving productivity results.
Strong knowledge of industry OH&S requirements.
Experience in the Timber Industry or similar.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Fork lift license desirable.
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, accompanied by well developed inter personal skills.
The incumbent will also require the key skills associated with a leadership role including confidence, the ability to time manage, prioritise and organise numerous activities as well as the ability to illicit results from others.
