SmartLam GL19C Keruing beams are a quality Glulam beam manufactured to stiffness E19,000 MPa, bending (f’b) – 45 MPa, JD2, the higher stiffness means a more compact section. GL19C beams are high strength and dimensionally stable.  GL19C beams have great load carrying capacity, superior fire resistance, and an excellent Appearance B finish.

Quality Assured
All SmartLam GL19C beams are manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 1328 Glue Laminated Structural Timber and are product certified under the Glued Laminated Timber Association (GLTAA) Industry standard GLTAA-4-91.

Appearance B Grade
SmartLam GL19C are available in Appearance B Grade – standard supply. Beams are dressed all round, but voids not filled. Suitable for painting and framing applications.

Pre-cambered
Standard supply for SmartLam GL19C beams is pre-cambered to a radius of 600 metres.

SmartPly-CD structural plywood is graded according to surface quality. CD grade represents a C grade face veneer and D grade back veneer.

C grade veneer face – each plywood sheet is solid faced, meaning filled holes, knots, splits, and face end joints.

D grade veneer back – each plywood sheet is permitted to have all defects unfilled.

SmartLVL 8 Framing is a H1.2 treated Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) structural framing timber available as 90 x 45 mm, 140 x 45 mm, 190 x 45 mm, 240 x 45 mm and 300 x 45 mm sections that is an alternative to Radiata pine solid timber suitable for use where Hazard Class H1.2 applies.

Form ply is constructed with mixed species veneers and phenolic overlay film on both sides to prevent concrete sticking to the plywood. The film also provides some water protection which means washing down and reusing is an option.
